Sunderland bowed out of the Carabao Cup last night after a tame 3-0 defeat at Everton.

The Premier League side were too good for Simon Grayson’s Championship strugglers, who failed to seriously threaten the home side.

There was a brilliant stat that the Sunderland starting XI contained more appearances for Everton than the entire Everton starting XI had, but there were also some other key numbers.
