Aiden McGeady’s celebration against his former club Preston North End was one of the most talked about incidents from Sunderland’s 2-2 draw.
The winger struck to earn the Black Cats a point in the second half, before racing the length of the field to celebrate in front of the home fans.
McGeady, who spent last season on loan at Deepdale and was Preston’s player of the season, had been booed by the North End fans during the game.
Preston and Sunderland supporters took to Twitter to comment on the goal and celebration. Here’s a pick of the more savoury comments:
